UPDATE ON EVERSPIRE
Writing again. I am pleased to announce that the first installment of the first trilogy is proceeding at good speed once again after a good two-month hiatus. I found that there was an aspect about 25% in that just struck me as dull and cliche. Up until this point I felt the book keeps good pace, so I gutted it. Being a major naval buff, I decided to throw a boomerang in plotwise that promises a lot of suspense and good deal of human connection. A book is only as deep as the characters you love and hate...and I felt that this addition to the plot will expand on that.
Now if only my 'motivator' would get off his ass as well...but as Pedro Cerano of Major League decreed...

HOCKEY NEWS
The ferocious Arc Ticks defeated KPMG (or whatever the hell they are called) decisively. Lucky for me the scoring was on...because I was having one shitty game. I think I let in 3 goals on like 8 shots. TERRIBLE, -F.
I redeemed myself in the double-header game, though. I always seem to play at the level of my competition, meaning I excel at making bad teams look really good

I'm delighted with the teams competing in the Stanley Cup. If the Lightning win, I'll be real happy for old-school Sabre Dave Andreychuk...if the Flames win, I'll just be happy. I did a fucking JIG when Philly lost. God I hate the Flyers.
I also need some ideas for a new goalie mask, as I lost my other one last weekend during drunken debauchery with the Ticks after our game. >X(
